
Susannah Perlyn
Susannah is a New York state certified Reading Specialist and received her degree from Columbia University Teachers College. She specializes in Orton-Gillingham (multi-sensory) instruction and is a certified instructor in both the Wilson Reading System and Preventing Academic Failure (PAF). For the past twenty years, Susannah has worked primarily with children who have language-based learning difficulties both in a school and private setting.
For several years, Susannah worked as a Learning Specialist in private school settings, helping to manage and oversee student support services. More recently, she has focused on her private practice to conduct assessments and provide reading and writing intervention for students. Susannah always encourages a team approach and enjoys collaborating with school faculty, family members, and other support services in order to maximize each individual’s overall success.

Susannah lives in Scarsdale, NY with her husband and two kids.
Tina Steinberg

Tina attended Washington University in St. Louis where she graduated with a B.A. in Child Psychology. She continued her educational career at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she obtained a Dual Masters in General and Special Education. She has spent most of her career as a learning specialist in both public and private school settings and is certified in Orton-Gillingham techniques, including programs such as Wilson Fundations and Preventing Academic Failure.
Currently, Tina consults with public schools to provide classroom support services and educational evaluations. She is passionate about advocating for children’s learning needs and believes that fostering a positive relationship with the school is an important component in this process.

Tina lives in Rye Brook, NY with her husband and three kids.
